The sound design is where the game shines. One moment you’ll have cheerful, 8-bit chiptunes that sound like they belong in a Pokémon daycare. Then you open the wrong closet, and the music stutters , drops in pitch, and becomes a low, droning hum for exactly seven seconds before snapping back to the happy tune. It’s jarring. It’s effective.
