The story of the Prince of Persia (2008) —often called the "reboot"—is a self-contained myth centered on a nameless drifter and a princess named Elika who must stop the release of the god of darkness, Ahriman. Unlike other entries in the series, this game is famous for its painterly art style and the fact that you can never actually "die," as Elika always saves you from a fatal fall.
: Unlike newer Ubisoft games, the 2008 title does not always allow you to mix and match audio and text languages
Method 1: Editing the Windows Registry (Most Reliable for PC)
Changing the language in Prince of Persia (2008) may require a little more effort than clicking a button in an options menu, but the process is well-documented and generally straightforward. prince of persia 2008 language change
If you're playing the game through Ubisoft Connect (formerly Uplay), you can also change the language there.
The GOG version of Prince of Persia handles language configuration much more smoothly than other digital storefronts, as GOG packages localization choices directly into its launcher stub. How to Change Language via GOG:
: With Ahriman partially free and spreading "Corruption" across the land, the Prince and Elika must travel to various Fertile Grounds to heal them using Elika's magic. The Ending
This is the story of a traveler lost not in the Cursed Kingdom, but in a labyrinth of menus. Our "Prince" had just installed the 2008 reboot of Prince of Persia | Version / Platform | Audio Languages |
One workaround discovered by the community involves pre-configuring the game on a Windows PC. The process, detailed on a Spanish forum, involves these steps:
For PC versions that don't easily switch languages (such as some region-specific discs or releases), you may need to resort to a manual method. This involves swapping the game's video and audio files.
If you follow the steps above but still face language issues, here are some common problems and potential solutions:
The Prince of Persia series has since returned to its roots, with games like Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010) and Prince of Persia: Ori and the Blind Forest's spiritual successor, Ori and the Will of the Wisps (2020) incorporating more classic gameplay elements and a return to the series' elegant, poetic tone. | The story of the Prince of Persia
To fix this:
If your game is set to English but you only see sound_pc_ru.forge , the game will fail to play English voice lines.
The PS3 version is the most user-friendly for language changes, provided you have a European or multi-language disc.

it would be better to suggest any method ( like icon packs) to use another fonts without rooting the device. can u tell me how to use them on stable os without rooting?
OnePlus just introduced this Font engine in their latest Open Beta. Perhaps in a future update they will provide an option for custom fonts, but for now, root is the only way to go.

Could you please attach a screenshot of this, as I don't have latest OpenBeta installed? If OP indeed explicitly licensed them under Apache v2.0, then you're good to go.
I see you "like"d my reply, am I good to go? Can I re-add the GDrive link?
Edit: woops, you replied just as I was typing this up. My bad.

It's a really long screenshot, because it's a list of
all the files in OxygenOS licensed under Apache v2.0, but here it is:

@ZeevoX I have currently removed the Google Drive link. I am getting this checked if it can be shared.
I've just checked in
Settings > About Phone > Legal Information > Open source licences and the following files are licensed under the
Apache v2.0 License:
/system/fonts/SlateForOnePlus-Black.ttf
/system/fonts/SlateForOnePlus-Bold.ttf
/system/fonts/SlateForOnePlus-Book.ttf
/system/fonts/SlateForOnePlus-Light.ttf
/system/fonts/SlateForOnePlus-Medium.ttf
/system/fonts/SlateForOnePlus-Regular.ttf
/system/fonts/SlateForOnePlus-Thin.ttf
Therefore I am permitted to distribute these files with reference to the owner, as long as I generate no profit from doing so. I have uploaded these fonts to Google Drive, which does not pay me, so surely I have permission to share these fonts. I have clearly stated that
I do not own these fonts, and that their creator is indeed Rod McDonald.
Full licence of these font files available here: https://hastebin.com/raw/wibazoluja

For those that have tried flashing a different font with this new beta, does it break the lockscreen clock (it replaces the ":" with a box and the usual fix doesn't work)? Tried flashing Product Sans but it broke the Lock screen clock.

Just a note - if there will come an update and the font will be modified, please check, if the license is still Apache v2.0. If yes, you can of course upload them, too. If they won't be under a free license, don't upload the updated versions.

1) You're good to go.
2) OP put OPMusic.apk under Apache v2.0? Well, while I don't think they published their sources, anybody is allowed to hack the app anyway. I fear some devs don't know what they are doing in terms of license. The only sad thing - I don't think you can demand to get the source code.
@ZeevoX I have currently removed the Google drive link. I am getting this checked if it can be shared.

I don't, but they are in /system/fonts/ in OxygenOS Open Beta 8 / 17, and I never claimed them. They are clearly referenced with their source, and I *never* stated I own them.
that's ok ... just shot an email to the owners. hate to see them lose out on $$$, specially if OP just stole it and modified the fonts

Worth noting that this font is probably still quite WIP (if you go over Bug Report section of the forums you'll see)
Otherwise it looks good being not too thick but not condensed

How do i implement these fonts?is it only available for beta users?
If you have a customer recovery and a suitable .zip you can flash any font you like (also needs root).
There are plenty of them around in a huge XDA topic, unfortunately Slate for OnePlus isn't there yet (that's why I asked if anyone's aware of a flashable zip for it...)
On Open Beta 9 the problem with flashing another font and the lockscreen breaking continues
