Plus Firmware - Ed64
The ED64 Plus firmware is not the same as the official EverDrive OS. Using official Krikzz firmware on an ED64 Plus will brick the cartridge. You must use software specifically compiled for the ED64 Plus.
Check that the system folder on your SD card is named exactly what the firmware readme file specifies (usually ED64 ).
Cart not booting? ├─ Clean slot & cart pins ├─ Test without SD (should show “SD init error”) └─ If black screen → possible dead cart ed64 plus firmware
Prepare a .BMP image resized to exactly or 320x240 pixels (depending on your firmware version's resolution requirements). Ensure the image is saved in 16-bit or 24-bit color format.

Check the physical region switch on the cartridge shell. If you are playing on a US console, the switch must be toggled to NTSC. Games Freezing or Failing to Load
Copy all files from your ED64 Plus SD card to a folder on your computer. You will lose your menu files during the update. Check that the system folder on your SD
Newer firmware solves many, but not all, of these problems.
