There is no official native specifically designed for Windows 10 x64 . The latest official release (v2.1.0.6) was originally developed for Windows XP. Several GitHub projects attempted to reverse-engineer the BCA2000 protocol for a clean x64 driver. As of 2026, no stable, signed driver has been released. One proof-of-concept (“bca2000-x64”) offered basic PCM streaming but crashed under exclusive WASAPI load.
Legacy audio interfaces can be incredibly picky about USB controllers. If you are plugging the BCA2000 into a newer USB 3.0, USB 3.1, or USB-C port, the handshake may fail. Try plugging the device into a dedicated USB 2.0 port . If you are using a desktop PC, this usually means plugging it into the ports on the back of the motherboard rather than the front-panel hub.
